2025 Vinden Headcase Rose

Angus Vinden keeps pushing the Hunter Valley in fresh directions, and this Rosé is a perfect snapshot of that energy. Built from a bit of everything - Tempranillo, Semillon, Shiraz, Gewürz, and more - it’s crafted from ten separate ferments, with fruit handled in stainless, old oak, and concrete to keep things lively but layered. It’s dry, bright, and full of character, with a bit of extra texture thanks to some time on Chardonnay lees. Nothing simple here, there’s real thought behind this wine. The balance between red fruit, citrus, and a flicker of spice makes it as at home at a backyard barbecue as it is on a dinner table. Inspired by Bandol but raised in the Hunte - this is one of our favourite Aussie roses.
