1972 Hamilton Sea Breeze III

Serviced April 2026, New Old Stock (NOS) unworn condition, gold electroplate case with factory brushing intact, original silver sunburst dial, original Hamilton expansion bracelet with hang tag, signed crown, white alloy mainspring, acrylic crystal. The Hamilton Sea Breeze III was introduced in 1972 and produced through 1977. It runs on the Swiss made caliber 686, respected for its reliability and serviceability. This particular example is New Old Stock: the factory brushing on the case is untouched, the original retail sticker is still on the screw-down caseback, and the hang tag is still attached to the original expansion bracelet. The dial has no patina. It appears unworn since leaving a store shelf sometime in the 1970s. Size: 37.3mm wide (excluding the crown) 42.0mm tip to tip 10.3mm tall 20mm lug width Case - Unpolished gold electroplate case with factory brushing fully intact. High polish on case edges. Signed crown. Screw-down caseback with original retail sticker still attached. Lugs - Excellent condition. No wear-through on plating. Crystal - Flat acrylic crystal, polished during service. Dial - Original silver sunburst dial in excellent NOS condition. No patina. Applied gold tone markers with black enamel accents, crisp and clean. Relumed during April 2026 service. Hands - Original. Relumed during April 2026 service. Beginning to develop a light, even patina consistent with age. Bracelet - Original Hamilton expansion bracelet with original hang tag still attached. Movement - Hamilton manual wind grade 686, 17 jewels. Fully serviced April 2026, white alloy mainspring. Running strong, currently performing at +/- 5 seconds per day.
