The One Ear Brand presents Chrysanthemum, a design inspired by a chance encounter with a piece of Japanese lacquerware whose beauty seemed to transcend the limitations of a phone screen. Even viewed from afar, its quiet elegance was impossible to ignore, revealing itself through subtle details rather than bold gestures. At the centre of the design is the chrysanthemum, a flower deeply woven into Japanese visual culture and symbolism. Long associated with refinement, longevity, and craftsmanship, it provided the perfect starting point for a bandanna that celebrates restraint and considered design. Rendered in a palette of deep black and rich merlot pink, the composition balances softness with structure.
