Proline X Micro Series Dual 15" Sealed Enclosure | Built for ResoNix GUS-15
Micro Series | Dual GUS-15 | Enclosure Only Dual GUS-15. 2.85 cu ft Gross. 1.35 cu ft Acoustic Per Driver — Exactly ResoNix's Target. Two ResoNix GUS-15 drivers. Two acoustically isolated sealed chambers — each with its own terminal cup. Each chamber is built to 1.425 cubic feet gross, delivering 1.353 cubic feet of net acoustic airspace per driver after displacement. Exactly ResoNix's published 1.35 cubic foot target for 0.707 Qtc. 3,000 watts RMS combined. The highest-output enclosure in the Proline X Micro Series. 2.85 Cu Ft Gross Total 1.35 Cu Ft Acoustic Per Driver 11.25" Total Depth 3,000W Combined RMS Rating Enclosure only. ResoNix GUS-15 subwoofers are not included and must be purchased separately from ResoNix Sound Solutions. Both the D2 and D4 variants fit this enclosure. Select the impedance variant that matches your amplifier's stable load before ordering. 1.425 cu ft Per Chamber — 1.35 cu ft Acoustic After Displacement ResoNix publishes a 0.707 Qtc target of 1.35 cubic feet of net acoustic airspace for the GUS-15. The GUS-15 has a driver displacement of 0.072 cubic feet. Each chamber in the M15D-S GUS is built to 1.425 cubic feet gross — after the driver is installed, each GUS-15 sees 1.353 cubic feet of net acoustic airspace, hitting ResoNix's 1.35 cubic foot target precisely. Total gross enclosure volume is 2.85 cubic feet. The acoustically meaningful figure for each driver is 1.35 cubic feet per chamber. This is exactly double the volume of the single M15-S GUS enclosure, by design. The Proline X Micro Series approach to dual builds is to scale the volume linearly — the dual enclosure is built to deliver the same acoustic conditions per driver as the single. Both drivers in this enclosure load into identical acoustic environments, and both produce identical T/S response curves. Two GUS-15 Drivers — 3,000W Combined, Maximum Shallow-Mount Output A single GUS-15 in the correct enclosure produces more output than any other shallow 15" available — 1,500 watts RMS, 25.89mm of Klippel-verified one-way Xmax, and 804.25 cm² of effective cone area. Two GUS-15 drivers in isolated 1.35 cubic foot chambers double the cone displacement and raise the combined power handling to 3,000 watts RMS. This is the highest-output single enclosure in the Proline X Micro Series — there is no comparable shallow-mount dual 15" build at this depth class. The DSP requirement is unchanged from the single GUS-15 build. Both drivers have Fs of 17.11 Hz and Qts of 0.34 — the same 0.707 Qtc alignment, the same flat anechoic response, the same requirement for active shelf EQ to build the in-cabin curve. A Goldhorn DSP or equivalent processor remains the correct companion. Two drivers produce more output. They do not change the alignment's character. 1" Walls. Double-Face Baffle. Two Terminal Cups. Built for 3,000 Watts. The M15D-S GUS is constructed to a different structural standard than the rest of the Micro Series. The walls are 1-inch thick Langboard Elite MDF — heavier than the standard 3/4" panels used elsewhere in the series. The front baffle is a double-face build — two bonded layers of Langboard Elite combined into a single rigid panel. Both wall thickness and baffle layering are scaled to the structural demands of 3,000 watts RMS combined across two GUS-15 drivers operating at 25.89mm Xmax each. The chamber divider is CNC-cut and dado-jointed to the same standard as the exterior walls, with the additional thickness those walls bring. Both chambers maintain their acoustic isolation independently. The stack-fab assembly is reinforced with dowels throughout. Each chamber has its own Proline X terminal cup — one per chamber — eliminating internal cross-chamber wiring and giving each driver its own dedicated amplifier connection path. Impedance Wiring — Two Separate Terminal Cups SETUP Each chamber has its own dedicated terminal cup. Wire each driver independently from its own terminal cup. The final system impedance depends on whether you run each driver from a separate amplifier channel or bridge both into a single amp. Both terminals must present a load the amplifier can handle. D4 Per driver: parallel = 2Ω, series = 8Ω. For a stereo monoblock or dual-amp setup, each amp sees 2Ω from its driver. For external bridging into one amp, calculate the bridged load accordingly. D2 Per driver: parallel = 1Ω, series = 4Ω. D2 T/S parameters not yet finalized by ResoNix. Confirm before selecting D2 variant. Plan amplifier impedance handling carefully — sustained 1Ω operation requires explicit amplifier rating. Volume 1.35 cu ft Acoustic Per Driver — ResoNix's 0.707 Qtc Target Each chamber is built to 1.425 cu ft gross. After the GUS-15's 0.072 cu ft displacement, each driver sees 1.353 cu ft of net acoustic airspace — exactly ResoNix's 1.35 cu ft target. Both chambers identical. Both drivers load correctly. Output 3,000W RMS Combined — Highest in the Micro Series Two GUS-15 drivers at 1,500W RMS each with 25.89mm Klippel-verified Xmax per driver. Combined cone displacement across 1,608 cm² of effective area — the maximum-output shallow-mount enclosure available. Walls 1" Langboard Elite — Thicker Than Standard Micro Series External walls are 1-inch thick Langboard Elite MDF, heavier than the 3/4" used elsewhere in the series. At 3,000W RMS the structural demands warrant the additional thickness — panel rigidity scales with the cube of thickness, not linearly. Baffle Double-Face Bonded Baffle — Dowel Reinforced The front baffle is a double-face bonded build — two layers of Langboard Elite combined into a single rigid panel. The stack-fab assembly is further reinforced with dowels throughout. Baffle resonance at 3,000W is structurally eliminated. Terminals Two Terminal Cups — One Per Chamber, Independently Wired Each chamber has its own Proline X ABS/carbon fiber terminal cup with stainless hardware and copper ring terminals. Pre-wired internally with 12-gauge OFC to its own driver position. Independent connection paths to each amplifier channel. Chambers Dual Chamber — CNC Divider, Independently Sealed A CNC-cut, dado-jointed chamber divider at the same 1-inch thickness as the exterior walls separates both driver volumes completely. Neither GUS-15 shares airspace with the other. Both chambers maintain acoustic isolation under sustained 3,000W operation. Mounting 8/32 Threaded Inserts — Machine Screws for Both Drivers Both baffle positions are fitted with 8/32 threaded inserts. Stainless machine screws are included for both GUS-15 drivers. Each driver mounts to steel — consistent clamping force across all eight mounting points per driver, no stripping at 3,000W sustained load. Polyfill Wall-Lining Only — Acoustic Volume Unaffected Polyfill is installed as a light wall-lining application only in both chambers. This dampens internal panel reflections without artificially increasing apparent acoustic volume. Each chamber's 1.35 cu ft net acoustic airspace per driver is unchanged by the polyfill installation. DSP Active EQ Required — Same Character as the Single GUS-15 Both GUS-15 drivers have Qts of 0.34, Fs of 17.11 Hz. The system Qtc in each chamber targets 0.707 — flat anechoic response requiring active shelf EQ for the in-cabin curve. A Goldhorn DSP is the correct companion. Two drivers make the response louder; they do not change its character. Clearance 33mm Minimum Front Clearance — Both Drivers ResoNix specifies 33mm minimum clearance between the GUS-15's surround and any surface in front of the driver. Confirm this at both driver positions before finalizing the install. At 25.89mm of Xmax, this clearance is the operating envelope of the suspension — not optional. Two Terminal Cups, Independent Wiring, Maximum Flexibility Unlike the other Micro Series dual builds, the M15D-S GUS uses two separate Proline X terminal cups — one per chamber, each pre-wired to its own driver with 12-gauge OFC. This gives you complete flexibility in amplifier configuration: run each driver from its own monoblock for maximum power and channel separation, or bridge both into a single high-output amplifier with external wiring. Each chamber's terminal is a standalone connection — there is no internal cross-chamber wiring. Plan Your Amplifier Configuration Before Ordering The GUS-15 is available in Dual 2Ω (D2) and Dual 4Ω (D4) configurations. D4 parameters are published. D2 parameters are not yet finalized by ResoNix. For most builds, D4 wired parallel per driver (2Ω each terminal cup) into separate 2Ω-stable monoblocks delivering 1,200–1,500 watts RMS per driver is the practical target. Confirm your amplifier strategy before selecting the voice coil variant. Where It Fits At 38" × 18" × 11.25", the M15D-S GUS is the largest enclosure in the Micro Series. The 11.25" depth places it outside the strictly shallow-mount category but it remains significantly more compact than any conventional dual 15" sealed build.
