Gallery Bench

The Gallery Bench and Gallery Long Bench draw from the restrained elegance of neoclassical and Directoire-influenced seating, where clean geometry and disciplined curves replaced the heavier ornamentation of earlier European furniture. Their looping steel bases recall the rhythmic ironwork and curule-inspired silhouettes often found in late 18th and early 19th century benches and window seating. Button tufting introduces a traditional English and French upholstery detail to an otherwise contemporized high-sheen powder coated steel base. At 16 inches deep and just 18.5 inches high, both benches maintain a compact profile that allows them to move comfortably between entryways, bedrooms and dressing spaces. Available in 2 lengths.
