Light pilling is a natural and normal characteristic of flannelette, particularly during the first few uses. It occurs as loose fibres rise to the surface with friction from use and washing. This will lessen over time as the fabric settles. If needed, pilling can be gently removed using a lint roller or fabric shaver.
