Meerkat Metal Sculpture

Meerkat — On Watch, As Always Head up, nose to the sky, front paws hanging loose — that unmistakable sentinel pose, caught in raw rusted steel. The body is built from individual bundled steel rods welded to create a shaggy fur texture, the head a smoother forged form with two round ears and a pointed snout. Warm rust-brown shifting to near-black in the recesses. Suits a garden border, a gravel path, or a sunny corner where it can do what meerkats do — stand watch and look like it owns the place.
