Tori Richard 'Tori Tapa' Cotton Lawn Shirt
Dating back over 3,000 years, tapa is a traditional cloth typically made from the inner bark of mulberry trees. The bark is soaked, beaten, and stretched with wooden mallets into soft sheets, which are decorated by hand with different artisan techniques. Inspired by vintage 1970s Tori Richard artwork. Printed on 100% cotton lawn fabric using screen-cutting techniques we've been perfecting for over 60 years. Our cotton lawn shirts are ideal for humid climates thanks to a lightweight hand and crease-resistant properties. Each is treated with a proprietary finish that creates a subtle luster. They're printed in Japan, then hand-cut and sewn in Hawai'i, USA. 100% Cotton Lawn, printed in Japan Proprietary hand and finish developed exclusively by Tori Richard Laser-engraved buttons with a pacific blue accent Print matched pocket Made in Hawai'i, USA Machine washable
