8 oz Pure Guatemalan Vanilla Extract Vanilla is native to Mesoamerica, and in the jungles of Alta Verapaz it still grows wild today. Our vanilla is cultivated in the same region where the plant has grown for centuries, hand pollinated and cured using traditional methods practiced by local families connected to our own. Each pod is grown organically in northern Guatemala, where the climate allows the beans to mature slowly before harvest. After harvest, the pods are carefully cured for months to deepen their aroma and character before being steeped whole in alcohol for a minimum of six months. We never split the pods before extraction. Each 8 oz amber bottle contains 4 to 5 whole vanilla beans, allowing the extract to develop naturally over time while preserving the flavor of the whole bean. The flavor is deep and layered with notes of dried fruit, wood, spice, and natural sweetness rarely found in commercial extracts. As the extract ages, it continues to soften and deepen in character. Fine vanilla does not fade with time. It matures. Use it in baking, coffee, ice cream, custards, chocolate, or anywhere real vanilla can add warmth and depth. The pods themselves can also be removed, split open, and scraped for their seeds long after the extract has been enjoyed. No artificial flavoring. No added sugar.
