Tuned to the needs of modern mandolin players, its player-friendly specs include an unbound ebony fingerboard, a 14-degree fingerboard radius, no pickguard, and a short fingerboard extension. The neck and body are made from figured red maple and are coupled with a carved Sitka spruce top. The F-5G features refreshed specifications, contours, and construction for optimal acoustic response.
