Aloe ‘AJR’ - 3.5”

Part of our Star Aloe collection, Aloe ‘AJR’ is a gorgeous, versatile succulent whose sword-shaped green foliage is covered all over by cherry red toothy texture — the totally touchable kind, no bite! This Altman Plants original hybrid makes a wonderful windowsill plant or dish garden star and is even suitable for frost-free landscapes, maturing to around 2' high and wide in the ground. That same growth potential applies as it graduates to larger containers. Aloe ‘AJR’ can bloom multiple times a year, an atypical talent for aloes. The yellow and orange bicolor flowers are magnets for butterflies and hummingbirds and eye candy for humans. The leaves redden up considerably in stronger light, even flashing some purple tones. Virtually maintenance free and drought tolerant.
