This is a rare Explorer II in brand-new, unused condition. The Ref. 216570 was introduced in 2011 to replace the previous model, the Ref. 16570. While the basic design follows that of its predecessor, the case diameter has been increased to 42 mm. The larger dial features enlarged hour markers and hands, significantly improving readability. Additionally, the movement has been updated to the Cal. 3187, which is equipped with a Paraflex shock absorber, among other solid, signature Rolex upgrades.
