Fleischmannia incarnata (Pink Thoroughwort)

Pink Thoroughwort is a fall blooming native perennial that features clusters of small pink, purple, or white flowers on branching, sprawling stems. The blooms attract bees, butterflies, moths, and other nectar-seeking insects. It does best in part shade with medium water and moist sandy or clay soils. Pink Thoroughwort needs very little maintenance. It prefers moist soils and is naturally found in moist woodlands, thickets, roadsides, streambanks and other moist places. It dies back in winter. Pink Thoroughwort will sprawl across the ground, but planted next to other plants or fence, it will loosely climb.
