Medeco M4 Snowman Cutaway in ASSA Ruko 2 Padlock Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New This custom Medeco M4 "Snowman" cutaway is mounted in an ASSA Ruko 2 padlock body and is Jordan's take on a cutaway of the M4 system. It exposes the six rotating key pins along with the four side pins, while keeping enough structural integrity for gentle picking. Includes two keys and a code card. The M4 holds a special place for Jordan. He got to spend two days with the platform more than a year before Medeco officially launched it. He was able to pick it with the first four key pins and all four side pins loaded, but could not quite get it fully pinned up. The lock remains functional and can be picked. As with any cutaway lock, light tension and gentle, controlled use are recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
