Personal Watercraft (PWC) Rescue Operators Course

This is delivered as a full in-person course. The price includes all classroom, open water, and/or swift water sessions as well as the certification PDF after successful completion of the course. The course will be delivered by one of WASH International’s Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) or Authorized Instructors in your geographic area. Participant(s) must supply PWC. Topics include: safe PWC operation; PWC design & construction; hydrology; pre and post operation maintenance and system/safety checks; self-rescue; victim approach; victim pick-up/recovery; current flows; towing, lunching, & docking; transfer of crew member(s); throw bag rescues from PWC; deploying crew and/or rescue swimmer; pick-up of crew and/or rescue swimmer; sled operation; PWC operation skills practice.
