Sonja Coat — Black

Sonja in black is the darker half of the pair. The body is worked in genuine rex rabbit fur, banded light to dark across each horizontal channel so the silver-grey shifts as it catches the light. Rex is the shortest and densest of the furs: it reads as velvet rather than pelt, and it holds warmth without weight. Black knitted wool sleeves ground the piece and let the fur carry the look, finished with a stand collar and a single clean zip. At hip length, Sonja layers over a dress as readily as over denim, and asks nothing of the occasion.
