This outer fabric is a reproduction of the cotton-nylon oxford used by the U.S. Army in the 1950s, blending soft cotton with bright, lustrous nylon for a fabric that has both sheen and structure. The liner is made from loosely woven, yarn dyed worsted wool that's lightly felted to add subtle texture while keeping it lightweight. This high-quality wool is soft and offers excellent warmth. Boxy-oversized three-way work jacket with field-jacket-style multi pockets and authentic details like a throat latch under the collar and reinforced elbow patches. Double needle stitching brings out the natural puckering along the seams. The fit can be adjusted with an inner waist tape and an elastic drawcord at the hem. The liner attaches with four buttons around the collar and can be removed as needed.
