Description Specifications PDF The Tractel Bravo Lever Hoist is a compact, portable manual ratchet lever hoist (chain lever hoist) for lifting, pulling, traction, handling and tensioning loads in industrial, construction, engineering, maintenance and material-handling applications. Operated manually using its lever handle, it provides controlled load movement without electrical or pneumatic power and is particularly suitable for load positioning, pulling and steel rope tensioning. The Bravo features a Double Click system with two independent, desynchronised pawls, designed to help prevent unintended load release during operation, together with permanent load control, automatic load brake closure and a free-wheel position for quickly positioning the unloaded chain. Tractel states that the Bravo conforms to EN 13157 + A1:2009. The Tractel Bravo is available in different Working Load Limit (WLL) capacities and lifting heights, so select the correct lever hoist according to the load weight, required lifting height, chain configuration and intended lifting or tensioning application; the rated WLL must not be exceeded. Its portable design makes it suitable for use on site, in workshops and maintenance environments where a manual lifting or pulling solution is required. For frequent lifting, higher lifting speeds or applications requiring powered operation, an electric or pneumatic hoist may be more appropriate. For workplace lifting operations in Great Britain, applicable LOLER 1998 requirements cover the safe use and thorough examination of lifting equipment, while PUWER 1998 covers relevant work-equipment requirements; LOLER and PUWER are legal requirements and are not product certifications or markings.
