Black Marble Horse by Bryston Bowannie

A black marble horse with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Bryston Bowannie taking a step forward with its right front poised mid step. There is one gray vein that runs horizontally down the sided of the horse and nicely incised mane and tail. The horse represents the power of the animal world literally "harnessed" for the benefit of the human race. Horse medicine calls the self to expand one's own potential abilities, tethering control of the environment, inter-species communication and offers us a good example of cooperation.
