8th December, 8-9.15pm GMT Join artist Meg Fatharly for a playful, hands-on introduction to tin embossing, exploring texture, mark-making and the joy of creating something by hand. Inspired by botanical forms, winter foliage and wild blooms, Meg will guide you through drawing and embossing your own design onto tin to create a unique hanging ornament. You’ll experiment with simple marks, lines and patterns, allowing your design to develop as you work. No need for perfect drawings or perfectly behaved flowers. The finished piece will be transformed into a hanging decoration to bring out each winter, gift to someone you love, or keep somewhere on display all year round. No previous experience is needed. Just come ready to experiment, play with materials and make something wonderfully tactile with your hands.
