Albury Estate Biodynamic Wild Ferment 2019
75cl, 11.5% Vol Only 500 bottles were made of this very special, limited release sparkling wine from the 2019 vintage. Our biodynamic sparkling is made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes fermented using wild yeasts found naturally occurring on the vineyard. This gives the wine a unique sense of place, or terroir. With 54 months on lees, this beautiful light golden sparkling wine has a nose displaying notes of stone fruit, apricot and pear. The mouthfeel is complex and full, with notes of almond, peach and citrus. Albury is one of only a handful of vineyards in the UK certified biodynamic which excludes the use of artificial chemicals, and improves soil fertility and plant health by using compost teas and biodynamic preparations. Certified organic and biodynamic, suitable for vegetarians.
