Various — The Concert For Bangladesh
Triple LP live box set of the Concert For Bangladesh, held at Madison Square Garden on August 1, 1971. The event was the first of its kind, & would set the model for future charity events, like Live Aid. The show brought George Harrison, who was a primary organizer, & Ringo Starr onto the same stage for the first time since 1966, when The Beatles stopped live touring, & was the first major concert appearance for Bob Dylan in five years. A major success, it charted number two on both US and Canadian album charts, & went number one in the UK. It’s certified gold in the US.
