Carved Gecko Djembe Drum 30cm

A djembe turned and carved from a single piece of wood, the shell stained deep reddish-brown with a gecko motif worked into the base, the body picked out in pale exposed wood, the striped texture of the skin cut in fine parallel lines. The head is goatskin, laced with black cord. At 30cm it gives a fuller bass response than the smaller versions while staying easy to carry. Made in Indonesia.
