A Pair of Regency Ormolu and Bronze Candlesticks after George Smith (1756-1826)

In the Greek and Egyptian Revival style. Candle receivers with guilloche pattern to the collar over a patinated bronze three branch cradle. Raised on a triform base with paw feet and triangular base. All the ormolu and bronze is untouched and original. English circa 1815 Similar triform candlesticks are directly linked to Plate 141 of George Smith's 1808 publication 'A collection of Designs for Household Furniture and Interior Decoration'.
