Our Classic 200g Turnout Hood is the perfect supplement to the Classic 200g Turnout Rug. Designed for everyday turnout when your horse needs that extra coverage from the elements. It’s our medium weight with 200g thermo-bonded filling, ideal for subzero temperatures and clipped horses. Made using a tough and durable 1200 denier outer fabric coated with Dupont™ Teflon® fabric protector to repel dirt and water. It’s highly breathable and waterproof with a rating of 7,000mm+ / 5,000g/m2+ and an added waterproof membrane for enhanced weather protection. The antibacterial, anti-static lining protects your horse's coat, maintaining its natural shine and health. Our fit-first design gives your horse superior comfort and coverage during turnout with a larger cut to accommodate the thick muscular necks and long manes of heavy horses and draft breeds. The extended length allows our neck covers to extend alongside the natural neck extension as your horse grazes, preventing any gaps for rain to get in. An additional extension at the base also prevents any gaps between the neck and the rug, ensuring your horse is full protected against the elements. Security features include heavy duty double locking velcro fastenings for the front closure and to securely attach the neck cover to the rug.
