Size: 2.56"L x 2.32"W Species: Ceratopsian indet. Age: late cretaceous- 75.3-79 MYA Location Found: Judith River Formation A genuine fossilized ceratopsian ungual, representing the terminal claw bone from the foot of a horned dinosaur. The specimen preserves the characteristic robust, curved morphology of a ceratopsian ungual. Within the Judith River Group there are multiple ceratopsian genus and species and with just a single bone or tooth it is hard to differentiate between them and give a definitive identification. There is no restoration to this fossil.
