Meet the Grower Event

Thursday 27th August | 6.00pm - 7.30pm Join us for a relaxed summer evening at The Market Garden, where you’ll meet our growers, Emma and Evonne, and discover the passion, care and knowledge behind the produce you find in our Farm Shop and menus. Enjoy a guided tour taking you through the journey from healthy soil to harvest, sharing their growing methods, seasonal crops and the importance of nurturing the land every step of the way. Along the way, our Café Head Chef, Roy, will be firing up the BBQ with delicious tasting samples of freshly harvested vegetables alongside our home reared beef, pork and lamb, showcasing the very best of what’s grown and reared here at Balgove. Your ticket also includes The Market Garden Cooler, a refreshing seasonal mocktail made with herbs picked straight from the garden. To finish the evening, you’ll head home with a wee complimentary vegetable goodie bag, with a selection of freshly harvested seasonal produce. Please note: Tickets are not issued.
