Guatemala, Finca Pensamiento Region: Guatemala Processing: washed Tasting Notes: golden apple, milk chocolate, cider, caramel Since 2020 we've been purchasing Finca Pensamiento, a single origin, washed-process coffee from Dina Monterroso's farm in Guatemala. The berries grow 1630 meters above sea level before they are harvested, processed, and shipped here to the States. This crop is the backbone of our Benchmark Blend, but it's also delightful roasted on its own.⁣ Finca Pensamiento sits on the threshold between the balanced and adventurous parts of our lineup. Coffee tastes like coffee, but if you're paying attention, it also tastes like a lot of other things. This one has notes of golden apple, milk chocolate, cider, and caramel.
