Bolero Men's Jacket - Nogales - Black and White
Originally named the Stockton, a hip-length western bolero cut for men who wanted the whole thing: eyelet piping and embroidery running the front yoke, back yoke, sleeves, and collar tips. Pearline diamond snaps. Slash arrowhead pockets. Double-snapped cuffs. Elasticized sides so it sat clean at the waist without a belt. It was built as a jacket you'd wear onto a dance floor and still have hanging in the closet forty years later. Ours did — that's why we went into the archive and reverse-engineered this one. The relaunch keeps the lines and the trim work exactly where Seymour's team put them. What changed is what had to: a more sustainable base cloth, modern grading, construction that holds up to how people actually wear a jacket now, and a signature liner. Same silhouette that put H Bar C on Gene Autry and half of Hollywood. Available in Black. It shipped as No. 25841, if you still have your 1950s catalog.
