Yes, Rambler®Insulated Food Jars are double-wall vacuum insulated. Are the Rambler® Insulated Food Jars leakproof? Yes, Rambler®Insulated Food Jars are 100% leakproof when the lid is securely fastened on. Can I use the Rambler® Insulated Food Jars for food? Of course! The Rambler® Insulated Food Jars are food-safe, BPA-free, and designed to be used with hot or cold foods. However, they are not designed to heat or cool food to a safe temperature. Also, be sure to always use food safe practices when preparing and serving food. What types of liquids and food can be stored in the Rambler® Insulated Food Jars? The Insulated Food Jars are designed to be used with all food and liquid types. However, do not use the Insulated Food Jar with carbonated, dairy, or fermenting food or beverages. Over time, these items can cause pressure to build inside the container. If pressure buildup occurs, the cap can be difficult to remove or forcefully eject and cause injury. Can I put the Rambler® Insulated Food Jars in the microwave? No. Since they are made with 18/8 kitchen grade stainless steel, they can not be used in the microwave, as fire or personal injury can occur. How do I open the MagVent lid? The MagVent Lid vents as it opens, which causes a hard stop to occur after the first quarter turn counterclockwise. To remove fully, just keep turning past this point until the lid comes off. Are the Rambler® Insulated Food Jars compatible with any other lids? No, the Rambler®Insulated Food Jars were designed specifically for food contents and are only compatible with the MagVent lid.
