They feature a bass-reflex design, an 8-ohm impedance, an 8.25-inch (210mm) woofer, a 5-inch midrange, and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter. The LX series are known for a punchy sound, relatively simple networks and small "titanium" tweeters. Fairly efficient without a ton of power-handling capacity but they generally sound better than comparable big-box-store speakers in their price range. At this price they're worth a listen.
