1974 US Army Airborne Slim Zippo Lighter

A genuine piece of American military heritage. This 1974-dated Slim Zippo wears a High Polish Chrome finish with an Etch & Paint graphic honoring the U.S. Army Airborne — the maroon beret a permanent symbol of parachutist qualification, earned only through the rigors of airborne training. The lighter is in new/unfired condition. The flint has been removed and the tube is clear, and the original box and guarantee paperwork are included. Condition note: The bottom hinge weld appears to have been touched up by Zippo Manufacturing — a minor cosmetic detail worth noting for the discerning collector. Military Slim Zippos from this era are seldom found in unfired condition — this Airborne graphic in particular rarely surfaces on the secondary market.
