TANK LOCK AND PADLOCK

Our galvanised steel tank lock fits through the cap of your oil tank and is secured in place with a weather resistant padlock, preventing the oil tank lid from being removed. It comes with two keys, fits most tanks and is much more secure than the plastic pin that would have been supplied with the tank. An oil tank lock and padlock is a cost effective way to protect your oil and deter thieves. INSTRUCTIONS: Pull back the shackle bar and fit through one hole either side of the cap, these would normally be in the cap where a plastic bar was fitted when new, just remove the plastic bar. If you have a screw cap on your tank it will be necessary to drill two 12mm holes through the cap and tank lip to house the shackle. Once in place, secure with the padlock. Store keys in a safe place.
