This Map of The Shire follows the rolling farmland and quiet roads of Hobbit country, with places like Hobbiton, Bywater, Bree, and Tower Hills worked into the scene. The Shire was settled by Hobbits in the later Third Age, carved out of the northern lands of Eriador and largely left to its own peace.
