Check the model number on your Sentry system — it will show 102, 103, 202, or 203. If you have a UVC 202, select the Sentry 202 / UVC 202 option — the consumables are the same. Select your model from the dropdown. Why do I replace the filters at the same time as the lamp? The 365-day countdown timer tracks your lamp life — when it alarms, it is also a reliable indicator that your filter cartridges are due for replacement. Changing filters and lamp together ensures the full system is fresh. Replacing the lamp alone leaves potentially exhausted cartridges in place. What happens if I run the system past the alarm? The Sentry alarms when the lamp reaches end of life — water flow is not shut off automatically. Replace the lamp promptly. Running past the lamp's service life means the water is no longer receiving UV treatment. Can I replace just the lamp without the filters? You can, but we don't recommend it. Filter cartridges are on the same 12-month service cycle as the lamp. Replacing the lamp without the filters leaves degraded filtration even though UV treatment is restored. What warranty applies? Filter cartridges and UV lamps are consumable items. If you receive any item that is visibly damaged or defective on arrival, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
