Rose and Duncan Killiner (New Zealand Winemaker), owners of Jelu Estate have created this unique wine to showcase the Terroir tipicity. Jelu from the Huarpe Indian language meaning sun. The vineyards are located 900 meters above sea level and are planted in an old river bed. Only the best grapes from the Zonda Valley in the province of San Juan are hand picked and fermented by traditional methods. This wine is dense purple black color, with rich flavors of plum, dark chocolate, and sweet vanilla. The robust structure makes this wine ideal with barbecue meat or rich cheeses.
