Founded in 1925, KERSA is Europe's premier hand puppet maker. Four generations of the family have proudly cultivated their crafting tradition, and the company continues to produce charming creations today. KERSA stands for "Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier", a German phrase that expresses their goal to produce artistic products that encourage children's imagination. This Monkey hand puppet is an excellent example of KERSA's amazing craftsmanship, made in Mindelheim, Germany during the 1960s. It has an endearing felt face with expressive glass eyes. It's been loved and shows age wear with bald spots and small holes on the felt parts. The head is filled with excelsior and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Animal puppet characters made by Kersa are rare so don't miss the chance to bring this little chimp to your vintage toy collection! Condition: Used and pre-owned vintage puppet.
