Marley is an active boy who thrives on activity and loves to be with his people. His favourite pastime is chasing balls and he will happily spend his time playing fetch in the garden or out on walks. He enjoys running freely and is used to being walked both on and off lead, especially in open fields where he can stretch his legs. Marley is a well-socialised and friendly dog who regularly walks in groups with a dog walker, where he gets on very well with other dogs. He currently lives with a cocker spaniel and coexists happily, making him a great candidate for a home with another friendly dog or two. Marley is house trained and crate trained, making him well-suited to a structured home environment. He currently sleeps in a basket in the kitchen and can be left for a few hours, once settled into his new home. Visitors to the home can expect to be greeted with a dachshund bark or two, but this is short-lived and he settles down within a few minutes. Marley hasn’t had much exposure to children or cats, so we are looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children and a cat free environment. He is in good health. Marley is a fun, affectionate, and energetic dog who will thrive in a home where he can enjoy regular exercise, playtime, and companionship. With his sociable nature and love for life, he has so much to offer the right family.
