ND 1964 Bank of Zambia One Pound Banknote Pick 2 Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ

Description: A choice very fine banknote from Zambia. This is the no date 1964 One Pound banknote issued by the Bank of Zambia. The banknote is green on multicolor underprint on the front with the image of a Black Cheeked Lovebird to the right and arms in the top center. The front is in English and shows the serial number in black twice. This particular note has the serial number 159693 and is series B/6. It is undated, but known to have been issued in 1964, and shows one signature on the front. The back is green and shows a copper mine. The back has the denomination in English and numbers as well as the name of the issuing bank. The note has a watermark showing a Wildebeest's head and a security thread right of center. The banknote is graded Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. A beautiful note that is relatively scarce in very fine condition to add to your collection. The note has all of its details extremely well preserved and its colors being vivid and distinct. The note is generally very clean with no objectionable stains. It has a central vertical fold but has no graffiti or pinholes. The note has no tears and no splits. Its corners are intact and squared with minimum rounding.
