Vintage Blue Moroccan Flatweave Kilim

Overview: This vintage kilim is woven in the Zemmouri style of Moroccan rugs. Instead of the typical red color blocks of the Zemmouri rugs, this piece features Yves Klein blue bands, offset by tightly woven geometric bands. These rugs, originating in the Middle Atlas region, tend to be more symmetrical and balanced from one side to the other than other Moroccan rugs. As a smaller piece, we would recommend using it as a bedside runner, in a bathroom, in a kitchen, entranceway, or hang it on the wall! Wherever you put it, consider pairing it with a rug pad to anchor it in place and give it a bit more cushioning underfoot.
