Colombia Ombligon

WHAT WE TASTE: ROAST: Light/Medium REGION: Cenicafe, Colombia PROCESS: Natural VARIETY: Ombligon ALTITUDE: 1500 masl This coffee is a special collaboration with our friends at Unblended and comes from producer Santi Arango, who returned to his family’s farm after growing up in the city of Medellín. Over the past few years, he’s taken on the challenge of learning every part of coffee production; from caring for the land to thoughtful processing. This natural lot features the variety Ombligón- a fun name that literally means “belly button,” inspired by the shape of the green coffee seed. In the cup, expect juicy sweetness with notes of ripe mango, bright orange-like acidity, and a smooth cocoa finish.
