DILATING VASCULAR DISEASES
Vascular diseases continue to impose a substantial global burden in terms of morbidity and mortality. Within this broad spectrum, dilating vascular diseases represent a complex group of disorders shaped by the interplay of etiopathogenesis, biomechanical characteristics, genetic sus-ceptibility, and environmental factors. Aneurysmal dilatations and vascu-lar remodeling processes are not merely confined to localized alterations of the vessel wall, but are also associated with significant systemic con-sequences. This work, entitled “Dilating Vascular Disease,” aims to evaluate the current literature on this group of disorders through a comprehensive per-spective and to provide a conceptual framework in light of contemporary scientific evidence. The book examines vascular wall biology, inflamma-tory pathways, hemodynamic stress factors, and molecular mechanisms in detail, while integrating these fundamental principles with clinical manifestations, imaging modalities, and therapeutic strategies. In recent years, advances in imaging technologies, endovascular in-terventions, and pharmacological treatment options have led to import-ant paradigm shifts in the management of dilating vascular diseases. In this context, the present volume offers a comparative overview of both conventional approaches and innovative therapeutic strategies, thereby providing an evidence-based perspective for clinical practice. The principal objective of this book is to serve as an up-to-date, re-liable, and comprehensive reference for clinicians, academicians, and researchers, while simultaneously encouraging multidisciplinary collab-oration and contributing to scientific advancement in this field. The continuity and progress of scientific knowledge are made pos-sible through critical thinking and a culture of shared inquiry. It is our sincere hope that this work will contribute to a better understanding of dilating vascular diseases and to the optimization of patient management.
