A Pair of French 19th Century Bronze Mounted Candelabras

The cylindrical marble shaft rising to a bronze Corinthian capital, surmounted by an ormolu frieze and bronze finial supporting ormolu candleholders in rinceaux form. With an ormolu mount at centre of upper bronze support, the candelabra on a two-tiered base, one tier of bronze with three crouching feet, the lower tier of ormolu in tripartite pedestal form, decorated with leaf and scroll mouldings.
