About the coffee This 100% Chiroso microlot was produced by Edward Sandoval on his farm, Canta Ranas, set on the foothills of the Los Nevados active volcano and national park, near the small town of Santa Isabel in northern Tolima, Colombia. Raised in Santa Isabel, Edward spent decades working as a quality control cupper and technical advisor with Colombia’s National Coffee Federation before returning home to establish Canta Ranas in 2015. Today, Edward and his family live on the farm, where quality is intentional and exacting, from careful cherry selection to slow, controlled drying on parabolic beds. A sample roaster and small cupping lab on site ensure every lot is tasted, adjusted and refined before it leaves the farm.
