Movie Poster and Condition Condition: This US Advance Teaser One Sheet Movie Poster is in Very Fine- condition. This Poster is linen backed and has ‘Lucky Strike’ appearing on this teaser/advance one sheet, no touch up/restoration has been done and there appears some minor edge and corner wear. There is a 10mm tear right hand edge near 10c icon, 100mm scratch above cigarette smoke. Minor colour touch up by a professional poster restoration specialist would make these minor flaws almost invisible. Great colours and ready to frame for presentation or archive. With only an estimated 200 original teaser posters thought to exist this is an exceptionally rare piece of Tarantino’s cult classic. Depicting Uma Thurman's character smoking a cigarette, this original cinema poster remains one of the most recognisable images from 1990s pop culture. While the artist of this theatrical one sheet is officially uncredited, the design has become iconic for its pulpy paperback-novel aesthetic, bold typography, and striking colour palette that framed the film’s stylish attitude. This poster will be carefully packed and shipped in a cylinder. Movie Synopsis Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction (1994) is widely regarded as one of the most influential films of modern cinema, redefining independent filmmaking with its non-linear storytelling, razor-sharp dialogue, and unforgettable ensemble cast. Starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Harvey Keitel, Ving Rhames, Bruce Willis, and many others, the film interweaves several crime-driven narratives across Los Angeles, each delivered with Tarantino’s trademark dark humour and stylised violence. Travolta and Jackson play Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, two philosophical hitmen whose banter and moral debates have become some of the most quoted moments in film history. Their story intersects with that of Mia Wallace, played with cool, enigmatic charm by Uma Thurman. Her diner scene with Travolta and the now-iconic twist contest represent some of the film’s most stylish and memorable sequences. Meanwhile, Bruce Willis delivers a gritty performance as boxer Butch Coolidge, whose escape from a corrupt fight fix spirals into one of the film’s most intense and unpredictable arcs. Directed and co-written by Tarantino, with Roger Avary contributing to its story foundation, Pulp Fiction was produced on a modest budget yet quickly became a cultural phenomenon. The film premiered at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d'Or, solidifying Tarantino’s status as a groundbreaking filmmaker. Behind the scenes, Tarantino drew heavily on his love of noir fiction, grindhouse cinema, and 1970s pop culture, creating a world that felt retro yet distinctly contemporary. The film's production is filled with fascinating trivia: for example, Travolta famously researched his role by speaking with recovering heroin users to realistically portray Vincent’s detached demeanour, while Thurman’s striking poster pose—featured on this very one sheet—was designed to evoke the cover of a worn pulp-fiction paperback novel. The attention to detail, from costumes to soundtrack, helped cement the movie’s lasting legacy. Today, Pulp Fiction remains a cornerstone of modern film, celebrated for its bold structure, unforgettable characters, and genre-blending style.
