Seychelles busy lizzie ‘ray of hope’
A ‘Ray of Hope’ for endangered plant species in the Seychelles. From 2001-2003 the Eden Project collaborated on nature recovery programmes in the Seychelles. One of the islands’ most threatened plant species is Impatiens gordonii – known as the Seychelles’ wild balsam. To help nature recovery work to continue on the islands, Eden created a new hybrid called ‘Ray of Hope’ by crossing I.gordonii with I.wallerina. 40% of net profits from selling ‘Ray of Hope’ go directly towards helping plant conservation in the Seychelles. Pot size: 9cm
