8478 Audax HM100Z0 Aerogel Midrange Drivers — Matched Pair | Made in France | Checked & Tested by Andrew The Audax HM100Z0 is a 4-inch midrange driver manufactured in France by Audax, fitted with the company’s distinctive aerogel cone material. It is a discontinued but highly regarded unit within the DIY loudspeaker and audiophile building community, where it has long had a reputation as an exceptional pure midrange driver — frequently compared favourably to specialist dome midrange units costing many times more. This is a matched pair, both units sharing the identical batch number 29009, confirming they were produced together. Both have been inspected and tested by Andrew in our workshop. Condition: Grade A — Great — Both units are in excellent condition. The cone surrounds and dust caps are intact and undamaged on both drivers, and the terminals and original wiring tags are present.
