About This Wine The Cattier family, original owners of Armand de Brignac, have a long and esteemed history as a top Champagne producer. In the small village of Chigny les Roses in Champagne, the Cattiers have maintained and cultivated their family vineyards since 1763. Today, the house is a joint venture between Jay-Z and LVMH with a dedicated team of fewer than 20 individuals. Patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier oversees the winemaking process at the estate, and with limited annual yields, he and his team are able to uphold the family's traditional and artisanal methods in every bottle.
