DIBA — The Triumph of Light DIBA is a limited-edition architectural crystal artwork, conceived as a study in contrast, luminosity, and permanence. Produced in a strictly controlled series of no more than 15 pieces worldwide, each work is individually constructed over 8–10 weeks, requiring more than 600 hours of meticulous hand application. Composed from over 12,000 primarily Swarovski crystals, combined with custom metallic-coated elements and gold-plated stainless steel, the composition explores the tension between density and radiance. A central dark mass—formed through layered crystal gradation—appears to absorb light, while the surrounding field disperses it outward in controlled, radiant lines. The result is a non-representational form that evolves with its environment, shifting in tone and intensity under natural and artificial light conditions. Engineered as a flush-mounted architectural piece, DIBA maintains a refined 5 cm profile while delivering substantial visual presence. At approximately 14 kg, it requires professional installation, reinforcing its positioning as a permanent design feature rather than decorative surface art. Exclusively developed by the HDLS Lighting atelier, each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a signed plaque, and an individually assigned serial number, ensuring provenance and collectibility. DIBA is specified for environments where visual identity carries architectural weight—private lounges, master suites, gallery walls, and Michelin-starred hospitality settings—where its presence functions not only as art, but as a defining spatial element. Custom sizing is available upon request, allowing integration within highly specific architectural contexts while preserving the integrity of the original composition.
