Aard Chardonnay/Pinot Noir Pet Nat

Aard are the natural wines of Annabelle Koopman and her partner Bart, grown on her parents organically certified Hope's Grove vineyard. This pet nat is half-half Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Its definitely fruit forward, with lovely berry aromas and flavours. There's a gentle mousse and delicate seashell, sea breeze notes. All grapes on the property are organically farmed, and the wines are made with no additives. This pet nat has been hand disgorged after a year of sittng on the lees in the bottle. The Pinot Noir was foot stomped and macerated for a short time with the Chardonnay hand picked on top and whole bunch pressed together. It was then fermented in stainless steel and bottled to finish fermentation.
